In response to the disturbance of a massive stone statue on Wester Island, the legendary monster Jiger appears and makes his way towards Japan. While attempting to stop this new rival, Gamera becomes suffocated when Jiger lays eggs in his intestines. As two boys in a new update submarine embark on a perilous journey inside Gamera's body in order to save him, Jiger threatens the Osaka World's Fair, which is taking place at the time.
It's another Gamera movie, and this time he has to fight another crazy-designed monster. Jiger is the first person we meet. It's fair that only Gamera can save the world, right? But no one can save Gamera, so who can help? A few kids. This is not a surprise.
